Dedicated and loving father, husband, and friend to all who knew him. He was known for his infectious smile, love of music, art and camping.
After graduating from Ooltewah High School, Shaun went on to study environmental engineering at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Shaun worked with his father, Ronald Patterson for over 22 years at Air Power Inc., as account manager and sales representative. He was the top salesman for Air Power for numerous years which isn’t surprising because he could sell anything to anyone. Shaun’s success in sales came from his genuine nature and having never met a stranger.
Shaun was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Patterson, Wilma Patterson, Jean Presta, Robert Willis and Dale Willis.
Shaun is survived by his soulmate and loving wife, Brittany Ragsdale Patterson and their son, Waylon “Haze” Patterson; his parents, Ronald and Rita Patterson; sisters, Tammy Dorsey and Dawn (Robert) Mason; several aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26, from 11 am to 2:30 pm at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services will follow at 2:30 pm on Saturday at the North Chapel with Reverend Cliff Hudson officiating.
A private family graveside service will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
