

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of William T. Grady Casteel “Tee”, 59, on July 16, 2023, joining his brother, mother and father in Heaven. He lived most of his life in Chattanooga and was an alumnus of Red Bank High School.
He was a contractor by trade and had an amazing talent of coming up with unique ideas to add a personal touch to his thoughtful creations. He had a heart of gold and was always available and happy to help anyone who needed him. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone.
He loved watching the Tennessee Volunteers and spending time with his family. Over the last year, he had immense joy in taking his granddaughter to school every day and sharing stories and life lessons with her.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill Casteel and Margie Palmer, and brother, Stan Casteel.
Tee is survived by his loving family. Those left to cherish his memory include Lori Casteel; daughter, Ryan (Brandon) Bruell; grandchildren, Laila, English, Jaxson, Salem, Brandon Jr., Camilla, and Roman; sister, Diane (David) Abercrombie, and several nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Sunday July 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel in Hixson. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday July 24th in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
