Mr. Hampton was a member of Chattanooga Jet Ski Club, Chattanooga Bicycle Club, the American Motorcycle Association (A.M.A.) and the American Cornhole Association. He was employed with UPS for over 20 years.
His father, Charles Hampton and mother-in-law Nancy Perry preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Perry Hampton; mother, Wilma Hampton of Chattanooga; brother, Rick (Becky) Hampton of Signal Mountain; father-in-law, Norman Perry of Jasper; sister-in-law, Anita (Scott) Andes of Whitwell; brother-in-law, Dwight Perry of Soddy Daisy; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Allison) Hampton, Drew Andes, Brandi Andes, Hannah Andes, Zane McGowan, Peyton Perry; and great-nephew, Nicholas Hampton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the North Chapel with Rev. Jerry Coppinger officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
