Tommy was a 1951 graduate of Hixson High School where he excelled in baseball and football. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Tommy was a former employee with Olin Conductors and retired from Top Flight Paper Products after 19 years of service. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Tommy loved fishing and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arch and Louise Fulmer; sister, Joanne Lunsford and a brother, Buddy Fulmer.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Virginia Crerar Fulmer; children, Karen Delashmitt, Kim Fulmer, and Mike Fulmer; five grandchildren, Derrick (Olivia) Delashmitt, Jeremy (Mindy) Delashmitt, Ericka (Ryan) Keylon, Tabitha (Tony) Warren and Kayla Fulmer; six great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, visitation and graveside services will be private for the family only. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers with Tennessee Home Health, Hearth Hospice, Dr. Zeigler, and At Home Complete Care for their love and compassion given to the Fulmer family.
