She was the daughter of the late Ollie Cyree and Nate Lea. Wanda was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation with over 25 years of service. Wanda was a lifelong member of East Chattanooga Church of God now Redemption Point of Ooltewah.
She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, LaVerne and Robert Fowler.
Wanda is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Gene Jacobs; daughters, Janet Camden, and Charlene Jacobs; grandchildren, Corinne Camden and Kristen (Matt) Estes; great grandchildren, Camden, Jackson and Morgan; siblings, Judy (Darle) Parker and Jerry (Frances) Cyree; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, July 28, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4 pm on Sunday at the North Chapel with Pastor Travis Ballinger officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
