William "Bill" F. Jackson Sr.

William “Bill” F. Jackson, Sr., age 79, of Hixson, passed away on Monday, April 26th, 2021.

He was born in Los Angeles, California to the late Fletcher and Cecelia Jackson. “Bill” served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Combustion Engineering after 20 years, Erlanger Hospital after 12 years, and Hamilton County Maintenance Department after 15 years of service.

He was a member of Burks United Methodist Church.

“Bill” is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruth; son, William F. Jackson, Jr., and wife Dana; grandchildren, Sara Ruth Jackson and William F. Jackson, III; twin brothers, Paul and Perry Jackson; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or services due to Covid.

Memorial contributions may be made in “Bill’s” name to Burks United Methodist Church, 6433 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343.
