My condolences to the family of Abel Lopez. I was employed by Abel at least 25 years ago. I had not seen him in many years, but remember Abel as a kind and patient man.

I will forever remember a time when my aunt Irene and uncle Able. Allowed me to live with them for a short time.Little did I know how much I would learn from my uncle Able,that I still use till this day. God blessed My uncle's hands with a gift. The capabilities of capturing what he saw and recreating that vision onto paper with the use of his hands. He was most diffidently a truly fine artist who taught me well. Only his skillful eyes began to fade away. and his once steady hands could longer capture the true emotion of his subjects anymore.So he laid down his brushes and pens. Only to have the world begin to lose the translation of his art. I thank you so much for taking the time to teach me the art I know today. Once again thank you and may you now rest in peace.
