Born on March 26, 1932, in General Terán, Mexico, Alma Gloria grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She built a meaningful career as an inside sales consultant with both Avon and Mary Kay.
A devout woman of faith, Alma Gloria was actively involved in her church and lived a life of service, always ready to help anyone in need. She had a deep love for travel, and her generosity and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Alma Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudy Castro; her parents, Antonio and Mercedes Garza; and her siblings: Antonio Garza, Elisa Garcia, Elia Garcia, Rogelio Garza, Rosita De La Garza, Maria Lupita Arauza, and Heriberto Garza.
She is survived by her brother, Hector Garza; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and godchildren. Her legacy of love, generosity, and faith will continue to live on in all who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital for their compassionate care in Alma Gloria’s final days.
