Amy Lorette Lafitte (Lancaster) of Pasadena, TX, left Earth’s plane to join with her Lord, Saturday 12 Dec, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Lancaster Jr. of Pasadena, TX, with whom she lovingly spent 37 years.
Born 25 Oct., 1947 in San Antonio, TX, She now leaves behind her parents, Earl Bly of San Antonio, TX and Agnes Mason Bly of Alvin, TX. Amy was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her children Richard (Wendy) Lancaster of Alvin, TX, Lori L. Cox (Jon) of Hockley, TX, and David (Tiffany) Lancaster of Tyler, TX, and her grandchildren Ashley, Courtney (fiancé, Seth), Karen, Susan, and Lawson T. She is also survived by her sister Beth (Larry) Hooker of Paris, TX and several nieces and cousins.
She regularly attended Sunday school services at Pine Tree Lodge, enjoyed caring for animals of all types, and will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful voice, bright smile, amazing fashion sense, and her deep, unwavering devotion to her Christian faith.
Grave site services will be held 10 am Wednesday 16 Dec., 2015. In lieu of flowers please donate to Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, IL.
