On January 27, 2019 Arch Wesley Helton, 90 years of age, surrounded by the love of his family, left this earth to be with the Lord. Arch graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Geology. In 1956 he married his college sweetheart. He was a member of the Houston Geological Society and the Houston Association of professional Landman. He founded and operated two successful companies for over 50 years. He was known for his sense of humor and love of life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and especially growing orchids. But most important was the love he had for his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his father Frank D. Helton, his mother Doris Helton, his sister Frances R. Stovall, brother Frank “Buster” Helton, and nephew Peter Stovall. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Antoinette Fatta Helton, his son Frank R. Helton, his daughter Deborah Helton-Flores, son in law Henry Flores, grandchildren Dustin Helton, Keegan Helton, Katie Flores and Joseph Flores.
