Arnoldo Valencia Cruz, age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Arnoldo, son of Candelario Valencia and Catalina Cruz, was born September 6, 1948 in Tingüindín, Michoacán in Mexico. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, as he was an extraordinary man of intelligence, kindness, humor, diligence, and faith. In 1979, he married the love of his life, Guadalupe Ramirez, and together they raised three sons. Arnoldo was a great athlete and lover of soccer, which he even played at the semi-professional level.

He died a holy death, wearing the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

He is survived by his faithful wife of 34 years, Guadalupe, his mother, Catalina, and three sons: Arnold, Alejandro, and Hugo. He is also survived by his sisters Angélica and Elina, brothers José, Francisco, and Jesus, and numerous beloved grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
