

Arthur Roy Davis, born May 23, 1972 to Arthur Sr. and Helen Davis in Salisbury, Maryland, passed away August 6, 2011 in Houston, Texas. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Natasha Davis, parents, Natasha's mother and father Nina and Oleg Bondarenko, grandfather Okley Davis, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Arthur graduated from Braddock Road High School in Burke, Virginia in 1990, and from Michigan State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Music. Although he excelled in trombone performance, he retrained himself and achieved MSCE, CCNA, and ultimately CCIE certification and began working as a network consultant. He joined Avaya Corporation in 2003, designing computer networks and IP telephone systems worldwide. He had the joy of traveling worldwide visiting architectural, historic and music composer sites in Europe, Eastern Europe and Ukraine, Russia, as well as Central America and Australia. The highlight of his life was his marriage to Natasha in Kiev, Ukraine on September 30, 2006. He shared his love of music, the arts and travel with his wife.
The family will see friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home with Father Bruce Noble officiating. A graveside service will follow in Historic Hollywood Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Arthur was an active member of Ukrainian Catholic Church for the past 6 years. On Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 12 noon, a Panihada (Memorial Service) will be celebrated for him there. The address is: 9102 Meadowshire Street, Houston, Texas 77037. Phone: 281-447-2749.
