Arthur Sanchez Sr.

Arthur Sanchez Sr., age 70 of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on

Wednesday, April 6, 2022 after a long battle with kidney failure and other health issues.

Arthur was born on December 29, 1951 to his parents, Bruno and Guadalupe Sanchez

In Houston, Texas. He was blessed to have a wonderful life.

In 1973, Arthur met the love of his life, Rosemary Herrera in Houston, Texas. Arthur

and Rosemary were married on June 1, 1973. They went on to have 3 wonderful

Children, Arthur Sanchez Jr, Paulette Angela Sanchez and Ruben Eric Sanchez.

Arthur loved his family more than anything in the world and would have done anything

for each and every one of them. He loved visiting Disneyworld in Florida which he really

considered the happiest place on earth. He made it a point to take his grandchildren as well as other family members to visit Disneyworld whenever he could. Seeing his grandchildren enjoying Disneyworld made him very happy. He also loved watching westerns and karate movies.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Guadalupe Sanchez, his brothers;

Reynaldo Sanchez, Pedro Sanchez and sister; Mary Pair. His surviving siblings are

Ted Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Bruno Sanchez Jr., Lucy Ramirez, Caroline Escalante,

Ruben Sanchez and Carmen Vasquez along with many other family members and friends.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 48 years, Rosemary Sanchez,

Children; Israel Trevino, Isaac Trevino Sr, Arthur Sanchez Jr. and wife Miriam,

Paulette Angela Sanchez, Ruben Eric Sanchez and wife Angela.

Grandchildren; Marissa Trevino, Isaiah Trevino, Arthur Sanchez |||, Isaac Trevino Jr.,

Arthur Zapata |||, Aiden Sanchez, Aliana Sanchez, Amaya Santes, Alicia Corona,

Amarissa Corona, Anneliese Corona, Mason Sanchez, Brandon Sanchez, Jaxson Sanchez. Great Grandchildren; Jeremiah Garza, Ruby Garza and Azariah Sanchez.

If Love Alone Could Have Saved You.

"You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it,

love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we

A visitation for Arthur will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Arthur Sanchez Jr., Ruben Sanchez, Mario Barela, Arthur Sanchez |||, Arthur Zapata ||| and Mason Sanchez.
