

Arthur served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre. He retired with 28 years of service as a steel fabricator from Mosher Steel Co., where he worked on many projects including the World Trade Center in New York City and the Houston Ship Channel Bridge. Arthur was a faithful member of St. Mark Lutheran Church for 58 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances in 1999. He is survived by his brother Erwin; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday, November 29th at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston. Funeral services will be 10:00am on Monday, November 30th at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl Houston, Texas, 77055, with The Reverend Timothy Duerr and The Reverend John Freed officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine, also in Houston.
