"He never met a stranger"
September 30, 1934 ~ September 30, 2011
After a very long and courage's battle, our daddy fought his last fight
on Friday evening at 7:42pm. At that moment and the moments before, he was
surrounded by loving family and friends, to which we are indebted.
He was not alone in his will to survive. There were countless wonderful and truly amazing people that walked beside him during his difficult journey. Without the support that he was so blessed to have, I do not believe our daddy would have endured, conquered, and triumphed as often as he had. I want to thank my sister, Glenda Kovar, for being there for him, and for me. I am grateful for the joy and love she brought into his life. I especially want to say A VERY BIG "Thank You" to Natalie Kempinski. She was his motivator, his confidant, his companion, and yes,
sometimes his dictator (which if you knew him, he often needed) "NO" was not an option with her. Most all she was his very, very best friend. Without her devotion and insurmountable dedication, I believe my daddy would have lost his brave fight sooner....
I want to express my warmest thanks to those who surrounded him in his life. They brought him joy and happiness. Many, many thank to his wonderful family, extended family and families, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and yes, even those strangers.....
He leaves behind so much more than people........he leaves behind wonderful and cherished memories. We are the ones that have been truly blessed. To know him, was to love him, because it was impossible not to.
