Audrey was a graduate of Needville High School. She was a ten year member of Senior Friends at Spring Branch Hospital, working in the gift shop. Audrey retired from General Welding Works with many years of service.
Preceeded in death by her husband, Steve and youngest daughter, Sherry Melchin. Survived by her children, Betty Thomas and husband, Joey, Don Malinowski and wife, Vickie, Carol Buchanan and husband, Troy. Also surviving are 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1353 Witte, Houston, The Rev. Mark Koch, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
