Barbara Titus

Barbara Titus, age 83, of Houston, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2016 after a month long stay in the hospital due to a heart condition. Barbara was born March 27, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Gene and Mary Lou Gregory. She lived her life to the fullest, regardless of circumstances. Barbara was a stay at home mom during her children’s school years because that is what she knew God called her to do. She began her career at age 46 with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she made many friends and devoted 20 years of her life. Upon retirement, Barbara spent ten glorious years traveling the country with her best friends, Charlie and Margie Jones. When she was not traveling she was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. But even more than her love for family was her love for God. Barbara was a devout Christian whose faith in God carried her through every step of life.

Barbara is preceded in death by her youngest son, Greg. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Rick and Tracy Titus, daughter and son-in-law Lea Ann and Jerry Boswell, grandchildren Jenifer Parcell, Ryan Titus along with his wife Kristen, Brooke Paulson and her husband Mark, and Zachary Boswell. Barbara had four great grandchildren; Skylar and Addison Parcell, Cooper Paulson, and Aiden Titus.

Barbara truly was the most wonderful and loving mother in the world. She was an incredibly beautiful person inside and out and exemplified the Godly woman. We miss you so much Mama, but we will always Love You More Than Tongue Can Tell!
