On July 27, 1989, a baby girl was born in Houston, Texas to Darrell Lockett and Christene Phillips whom they named Brittany Renae Phillips. She attended public school in Spring Independent School District and graduated from Spring High School in May of 2007. Brittany accepted Christ at an early age and served at St. Paul Methodist Church in Spring, Texas. Brittany departed this life on Monday, June 25, 2012. Being comforted and cherishing her memories are: her father, Darrell (Ada) Lockett; Mother Christene Phillips; daughter Destiny Renae Phillips; one brother, Brandon Phillips; four sisters: Amber (Marlon) Jackson, Brandi Dorsey, Meia Lockett, and Meree Lockett; great-grandmother, Ruby Phillips; great-grandfather, Oscar McBride, Sr.; two grandmothers: Edna Lockett and Cheryl Phillips, along with a host of uncles, aunts, a niece, a nephew and other relatives and friends.
