Born and raised in Houston, Bryan was fiercely proud of his home town. He was an active member of Houston’s deaf community, and made countless friendships through meetups and shared interests. To know Bryan was to love him. His joyful spirit and eye for art touched everyone he met.
Bryan was an extremely talented photographer, and particularly enjoyed portraiture and fashion photography as a focus. He also had a lifelong passion for cars, and was quite skilled with repairs and upgrades to his own vehicles. He grew up in a family of restaurateurs, and shared their passion for food and cooking.
Bryan is survived by his parents, Eddie and May Chan of Houston, his brother Randall (Adriana) Chan of New York, his brother Edmond (Amelia) Chan of Austin, and his niece, Fiona, and nephew, Jonah. Brian also leaves behind a large extended family in Houston, as well as countless close friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents and two uncles.
A memorial service for Bryan will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008.
