Camille Marie Thomas Brace passed away on February 23, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 29, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. After a short career as a telephone operator, she met and married Douglas Brace in 1950 and they moved to Houston.
Camille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her life. She loved gardening, knitting, and growing violets. She enjoyed living at Lake Livingston, traveling, reading, and being active in her community.
Camille was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas, her parents, Edna LaForest and Roderick Thomas, her siblings, Don Thomas and Donna Fish and her great-granddaughter, Isabelle.
Camille is survived by her children; son, Thomas and wife Sally of Azle, TX, and their children, Jeff (Angela) and Jessica Payne (Cole); son, James of Houston, and his children, Jason (Lynne) and Kelli; daughter, Debbie and husband Jerry DiGulio of League City, and their children, Jamie and Jodi Littlejohn (Josh); and son, William and wife Kelly of Houston. Camille is survived by her great-grandchildren, Whitley, Maggie, Camille, Blaire, Olivia, Gabrielle, Gage, Dylan, Logan, Ashtyn, Barrett, and Brett.
