

Proceeded in death by husband Lauro B. de Anda & son Valentine de Anda. Mother worked for Joe Frank of Houston for many years as a fashion sketch designer & seamstress. She sewed & crafted many pieces that were on display & sold at department stores such as Kaplan’s-Ben Hur’s, Sakowitz, Foley’s and during fashion events. She continued her love for sewing by designing & making her children’s clothing and even crocheted beautiful works of art.
As her children grew up, she decided to spend more time with her family as a homemaker. Cayetana was also known for having a green thumb & adoring her many plants, loved to sing and cooking authentic foods. Her love, protection, strength, and faith will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Louise Beagles, Ninfa Marie de Anda and Bernard & wife, Sherry de Anda; 7 immediate grandchildren Joseph Minas, Theresa Rodriquez, Tamera Galdamez, Daniel Picazo, Angela Platsas, Elizbeth Doyel, Jodi Price, Lisa Picazo-Wimberly, and David Picazo III; 29 Great grandchildren; 9 Great great grandchildren; including the family spouses, friends and all the various loved ones that will forever be cherished and appreciated.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm, with Rosary at 6pm on Monday February 19, 2024 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10am on Tuesday February 20, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by burial service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 12pm and reception immediately after burial at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
