

Charlyn (aka Charlie) DeLony passed away on January 18, 2011 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. She has lived in Crosby, Texas for the past 41 years and enjoyed a full and happy life. She worked in the education industry, first for HISD and also in Crosby for CISD as a school secretary where she retired. The rest of her days were spent loving and living her life to the fullest enjoying working in her yard, planning Bunk House parties, and spending time with her children, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Known to all as Granny Grunt! They loved her so. Evenings were special playing rag with Cisco her pup and watching the sunsets. She was active in Lake Houston United Methodist Church and had a very large growing church family she adored. She is preceded in death by her husband; Joe Perkins, her mother; Alta Clark, and sisters; Jackie Eades and Rosemary Mauk. She is survived by her 2 devoted daughters; Debbie and Joeleen and one son; Darrell. She is also survived by her Long time partner; Jake Plumb and his son Tyson, and her Special Angels; Tana, Harley, and Tommie. A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, TX. 77023, on January 21, 2011, from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held on January 22, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Family Chapel with interment to follow.
