Clara Willie Myers

Clara Willie Myers, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Clara was born June 4, 1935 in Forest, Mississippi. She is survived by her daughter Janet Myers, sisters; Mary Jewel Duncan, Linda Jean Carr and Nelda Kay Applewhite, Grandchildren; Kristy Weaver, Courtney Weaver, Beth Staats, Jacob Weaver, and Jarett Myers, great grandchildren; Braxton Carnes, Blayd Plowden, Kannan Plowden, Evie Staats, Ginny Staats, Noah Myers, and Eli Myers, great-great grandchildren; Brant Carnes, Laiken Moren and Branson Carnes. Clara was preceded in death by her husband William Oliver Myers Jr.; daughter Bobbie Jean Weaver, son Willaim Gary Myers, sisters; Shirley Mae Myatt and Annie Rachel Griffin, brother James Earl Fortenberry; and her great grandchild Bryce Carnes.

A visitation for Clara will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 9:30 AM, at the Heights Chapel. Committal service will follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
