CLARA ESTELLE ROGERS was born August 12 ,1930 in Tuscumbia, Alabama and passed away on September 1, 2010 in Houston, Texas at the age of 80. She loved to cook and her favorite food was catfish. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew Rogers; her parents, Homer and Bessie Gasque; and her sisters, Geraldine Isbell and Virginia Berryman. Clara is survived by her loving children, Steve Rogers and his wife Nancy, Denise Foreman and her husband Billy, Dan Rogers and his wife Beth; 5 grandchildren, Clayton Leonard, Stephanie Lee Norman and her husband Brandon, Tyler Rogers, Zachary Rogers and Alexandria Rogers; sister, Lucille Kelso along other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of her life will held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, September 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
