Clayton Ronald Stewart

The only child of Clayton Sr. and Para Lee Stewart, was born on July 16, 1957. Clayton Ronald "Ronnie" Stewart grew up in Houston, Texas in the Fifth Ward Community. He graduated from Jeff Davis Sr. High School, where he played football and was voted all-city; all-state in 1975. He furthered his education at Independent College of Kansas. He was a master electrician by trade, working for the City of Houston for 25 years until he retired. Clayton was united in Holy matrimony to Freda La Raye Fletcher on December 30, 1978. To that union was added Cheri, Tamiko, and Dwayne. He was a spiritual mentor and father to Dax Luther Jones-Stewart and Michael Jefferson. Clayton accepted the Lord as his personal savior, and began a lifelong journey of ministry and serving. He was licensed to preach the gospel by Reverend Mc Authur Paul at his home church Greater Galilee M.B.C. in 1985. He was later ordained as Pastor of Alpha Light Christian Center by Apostles Tim and Theresa Early in 1995, where he and his wife established Alpha Light Outreach Ministries. Through this outreach ministry, he and his wife ministered in prisons, homeless shelters, and street crusades, where many lives were changed. Clayton and his wife later served under the leadership of Apostles Tim and Joyce James at Total Man Christian Center. They were installed as Pastor and Co-Pastor of A Full Measure Family Worship Center, by Apostles Tim and Joyce James in 2008, where Clayton served faithfully as Co-Pastor until he finished his race. Pastor Clayton R. Stewart attended Immanuel Temple School of the Bible, where he received his Doctorate of Theology through Cornerstone University. Clayton was preceded in death by; his parents, Clayton and Para Lee Stewart, and his mother Louise Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories; his children Cheri Wilson (Talbert); Tamiko Stewart, Dwayne Stewart, Dax Jones-Stewart, and Michael Jefferson. Grandchildren; Taylor Harrison, Morgan Chevis, Aryuana Wilson, Jermaine Wilson, Jordan Wilson, and Jesson Wilson.
