Connie G. Garcia

Connie (Consuelo) Gonzales Garcia was born on May 18, 1934 in Sugarland, Texas. She went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2021, Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents – Vicente and Cleofas Gonzales; her sister – Ester Ward; and great grandson – Christopher Curry. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years – John Gilbert Garcia whom she married October 18, 1953 in Houston, Texas; sister – Rebecca Clinton; Brother – Edward Gonzales; son – John Gilbert Garcia Jr. and wife Miriam, grandson – Christopher Garcia and wife Reagan Garcia, great grandsons – Caleb and Matthew; son – Michael Edward Garcia and wife Naomi, grandson – Vincent Garcia and wife Sarah Garcia, great granddaughters – Liliyana, Amelia and Olivia; son – Moses Andrew Garcia and wife Stephanie, grandsons – Army Staff Sgt Moses Garcia, Jr. and Fabian Garcia, great granddaughter – Michaella; granddaughter – Michelle Curry and husband Ryan; grandson – Brad Dolman and wife Marjie; great grandson – Braden, granddaughter – Katy Capps and husband Eric, great-grandson – Cason. Connie is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.

Connie Garcia lived her entire life being a light to others – being the hands and feet of God to all that crossed her path. She was a child of God who faithfully finished her race and all of our lives are incredibly richer for knowing and loving her. We will truly miss her, and await the day we’ll all be reunited.
