I'm so disappointed your family has lost such a BIG PRESENCE! I taught with Cynthia at Channelview High School back when I was a baby teacher and the world was new. We ate breakfast every morning and  shot skeet once a week for 2 years. She told me she had a soft spot for me because we were from the same dirt. (I grew up 10 miles from Franklin....small world). She was funny and caring and lifted me up before I went to teach. I lost touched with her when I married and moved away. I regret I lost touch with her.

When I heard she was ill, I looked on the internet until I found her phone number and called her. I asked her what she had been doing for the last 45 years........she said "kicking up my heels."  Sounds just like my friend and I don't doubt that at all. My heart aches and I know her family and friends feel the same loss. Dance again, my friend.

Cynthia was a bright light in this world. It was a great joy and pleasure to be her friend for the short time I knew her.  She brought laughter and smiles and wonderful stories to those she met. I mostly enjoyed her love for flowers, travel and dance!  
Especially dancing! I’ll remember you and I’ll keep practicing, OK. Dance freely now, my dear friend.  You’re amazing!




I’m sad to hear the news of Mrs Parker passing away. I only knew her for a couple of months and I enjoyed every second, minute, and hour in your presence helping taken care of you. You had a heart of gold but you could tell she didn’t take no one mess back in the days. I’m going to miss you dearly. I’m going to cook me a pot of your favorite pinto beans in remembrance of you. I love you and get your rest now. Heaven most definitely has gained a sweet beautiful angel
