David has spent his entire life in a wrecker. Once he was old enough he made it his career and truly loved what he did for 26 years. When he wasn’t in the wrecker, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. David had a larger than life personality who had never met a stranger. As we all know, he certainly had a soft spot in his heart for children.
To know David, you knew you had a real friend. He was a jokester that had a quick wit about him and an endless supply of pranks. He lived to make others laugh. Ultimately, David will be remembered as a man who would give you the shirt off his back and remind you that he was only a phone call away if you ever needed help.
David was greeted in heaven by his son Jake Horrocks, his father Eugene Bourke, maternal grandfather Thad Gills, and paternal grandparents Gene and Elsie Bourke.
Left to carry on his legacy are; his wife Tracie Bourke and his stepchildren Jacob McBride and Haley Hernandez; his beloved mother and father Dean Bourke and Jorge Elizondo, his grandmother Earlene Gills; his sister Kim Thompson and husband Trey, brother Rocky Bourke and wife Kacey and his sweet nieces Barrett and Brynn Bourke. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his amazing tow family.
David will be truly missed by all who loved him.
