

David Lee Trojanowsky, 73, of Houston, TX, passed away on May 31, 2025. He was born in Houston, TX on February 4, 1952. He graduated from Sam Houston High School and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston.
He was happily married to his loving wife, Carla Carrico, for eleven years.
David had a career in drywall construction and sales at Marek Brothers, where he worked for over fifty years.
He had a passion for the Houston Texans, Fantasy Football, and writing. He submitted articles monthly for the Texans’ Fantasy Football League. David loved snow skiing and riding his motorcycle, and traveled all over the world to ski and explore the countryside on his motorcycle. David had an appreciation for the arts and loved finding hidden treasures and off the beaten path restaurants. David regarded strangers as friends he had not yet met, striking conversations with people wherever he went.
David was preceded in death by his parents, August and Ann Trojanowsky, and his brother, Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Carla, his brother Patrick (Cassie), his sister Carole (Alan), sister-in-law Marsha, nieces and nephews: Charlie (Kim), Chris (Stephanie), Gena (David), Matt, Natalie (Shane), Michelle (Richard), stepdaughter Jennifer (Ryan), grandchildren: Emily, Clay, Lynnsey, Macy, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway (I-45 North), with funeral services following. Burial services will be at Garden of Gethsemani, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Alan Pryor, Charlie Trojanowsky, Chris Trojanowsky, David Bischoff, Matt Pryor, Juan Govea, and Kyle Trojanowsky.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Friday, June 6, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
