

Deborah Zelma Washington was born May 30, 1950, in Houston, TX. She was one of nine children born to Spear Pittman Jr. and Evelyn Pittman. Deborah was a graduate of Evan Edward Worthing High School. Deborah met and married Marshall L. Washington Sr. of Hallettsville, TX. In her spare time, she loved reading and making jewelry along with crafting novelty gifts. For every one that knew Deborah, remembers that the holidays were special to her. She spent countless hours crafting gifts for family and friends. This is a trait that has been passed down through three generations and can be seen through the life of her children and grandchildren. The love and giving spirit of Deborah Washington will be remembered for years to come.
Deborah Washington was preceded in death by her parents Spear Pittman Jr. and Evelyn Pittman; siblings, Gwendolyn Hayes and Lenda Pittman. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Marshall L. Washington Sr.; two sons, Marshall Washington Jr. and Jhabba Washington; daughter, Jocquwyn Shenorra (Yhontou) Jackson; siblings, Pamela King, Spear Pittman III, Diane Pittman, Sandra Taylor, Gregory Pittman and Michelle Authorlee; three grandchildren, Zharia Washington, Zoey Jackson, Zackery Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
