Words cannot express the gratitude and joy that we feel having had Our Mom (Debra) in our lives. Her hugs were always warm and perfect. Her laughter was contagious and made your heart swell with affection. She loved animals almost more than she loved others (and she loved everyone so so much!), but her greatest loves were always her grandchildren and Griffen and Cooper will always remember their beloved Bom Bom. She was a kind, loving and nurturing mother who was always there for her children to help them endure life's trials. We will miss you Mom (Debra) very much. The world is not the same without your joyful light in it, but we will celebrate the light you were to us all and your journey home to Jesus and we look forward to you greeting us again one day with one of your special hugs. We Love you!
The family would like to thank her oncologist/doctor and dear friend; Dr. Nekita Patel for all the care, concern, compassion, and love that you showed Debbie every step of the way throughout her treatment. You were her Light in what should have been a dark time .... but wasn't because of you and all the special nurses from Houston Methodist Cancer Center who made Debbie's days being treated for cancer feel like a lunch date with dear friends; filling her day with love. A special thanks to Amanda; her wonderful hospice nurse and now dear family friend.
