Delfina B. Munoz

Delfina B Munoz, 96 yrs old; two months shy of her 97th birthday, went to meet her Jesus on January 14, 2021. Born in Corpus Christi, Tx, she was a woman of faith, strong, courageous and committed totally to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique A Munoz; parents Genaro and Cruz Barrera and 4 brothers, Rosendo, Edward, Jerry and Richard

Barrera.

She is survived by her daughters Rose Munoz Showalter (Larry), Gloria Munoz Craft (Danny), Henrietta Munoz Aaron (Douglas), Margaret Munoz West, and her son Henry E Munoz.

Delfina’s pride and joy were her grandchildren! She was blessed beyond measure by her 15 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren and two due soon. She was muli-talented, played piano, avid reader, artist, creative and great cook and great work ethics. Her second retirement was from Walmart at the age of 83. A quiet woman that did not like fanfare left us quite a legacy! What a woman . . . our Mom.

A funeral service for Delfina will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Pasadena, TX 77038.
