Dimple Heflin

Dimple D. Heflin of Houston, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, and is now peacefully resting in God’s care. Our mother was a wonderful Christian woman who loved her Lord, her family, her church, and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Hubert Heflin, her grandson, Jeffrey Bratton, her great-granddaughter Mikayla Rossiter, her parents Jessie and Ray Mc Grady and siblings. Dimple is survived by her children and their spouses Rosemary and Jerry Gibbs, Berniece and Bill Bratton, Janet and Mark Benavides, David and Jeanne Heflin, and Keith Heflin. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Friends are invited to a visitation with family on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm, at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lazybrook Baptist Church, 1822 W 18th, Houston, TX 77008, with Pastor John Neesley, officiating. The interment to follow at 2pm at Brookside Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Frwy, Houston, TX 77039.
