DOMINICK FERRARO, 94, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. He was born in Diboll, Texas on April 4, 1921 to parents Calogero and Giuseppina (Genco) Ferraro. He is preceded in death by his siblings Joe Ferraro, Sam Ferraro, Sadie Geraci, Grace Trombatore Wolda, and Jennie Lasala. He is survived by his children Carl Ferraro, JoAnna Roberts and husband Edward, and Joseph Ferraro and wife Sonia; two grandchildren, Michael Roberts and wife Kristin, and Derek Ferraro; and great-grandson Nolan Roberts. Dominick was a veteran of World War II, where he served his country in the Army. He was a long-time member of the Sacred Heart Society. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. The visitation will be held 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, Texas 77037, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will then be at 11:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
