born June 30,1942 to Carter Henry Richardson and Margaret Josephine Bucsanyi Richardson in
Houston, Texas.
Donald grew up in the Foster Place Neighborhood on the south side of Houston, Texas. He attended
Foster Elementary, Johnson Junior High and graduated from Jesse Jones High School in Houston. He
then went to Stephen F. Austin College in Nacogdoches, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and
began his career as a teacher. He was a bi-lingual teacher and then a music teacher. He retired after 34
years of teaching in the North Forest and Houston lndependent School Districts.
He then became the church organist for St. Albans Episcopal Church, and later St. Barnabas Episcopal
Church. After his second retirement, he became a member of St. Paul EpiscopalChurch where he
enjoyed attending services with his dear friend Gay Gordon and other dear friends.
Donald enjoyed attending many church functions and spending time with his friends and family. He
really enjoyed attending many organ recitals and music events.
Donald is survived by his sister Linda Holloway his nephew Brian Holloway and niece Alison Holloway,
numerous cousins and many, many dear friends.
