Donna moved to Houston, Texas in in the 1950s, where she raised her family in Spring Branch. Donna attended Spring Branch Community Church for 50+ years which later became BridgePoint Bible Church.
Left to cherish Donna's memory are two daughters, Dixie Ibison Brooks and Becky Ibison Brooks. She also leaves behind 3 grandsons, Tracy Stoughton who is married to Shannon and their four children: Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Emily & Josh; Home Kenny; and Koby Kenny who is married to Brigid and their son Flynn. Donna also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Family and friends gathered for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20th, at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard in Houston, where funeral services, led by Reverend Tom Douthit and Reverend Wayne Martin, were held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July21, 2015. Graveside services and interment followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, also in Houston.
