Doris Ellen Tarter

Doris Ellen Tarter, age 82, of Cypress, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born in Okehema, Oklahoma on July 19, 1942. Doris graduated from Houston Vocational Technical High School in the Secretarial Training Program.

She was married to Mike Merry Tarter for 46 years.

Doris had a career in Human Resources and Accounting for Semco and Quicksource.

She had a passion for reading and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her child, Lynda Michelle Fikac (Tarter) and her husband Aaron Jonathan Fikac; grandchildren, Hailey Michelle Charlton, Matthew Thomas Charlton, Dennis Michael Fikac and Alexander Jason Fikac; niece, Carrie Michelle Winter; nephews, Vance Tarter, Tracy Copeland and Akili Hamilton.
