Dot was a wonderful friend from my growing-up years in Greenville, Mississippi. We kept up via phone after she went to Houston and was called a miracle by M.D. Anderson doctors in regard to her battle with pancreatic cancer. I was honored to know her. She was a prestigious pilot in the years that women were true pioneers and a fine Christian. She was brave, industrious, sweet and loving, and adored her son Clay and daughter-in-law Debby and her other family members. I spoke with her not long before she went Home to be with God. I kept calling but did not know she had left us. My sincere condolences. I loved and admired her.
