Dorothy Louise Ogden

Dorothy Louise (Roach) Ogden, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed peacefully away Monday March 16, 2026 surrounded by her husband and family. She was born on December 27, 1937 to Walter P. and Toni Roach. On May 26 1962, she married the love of her life, Jack Ogden and together they built a life filled with love and happiness.

A dedicated mother, Dorothy took pride in raising her children Kevin and Dana. She was a constant source of love for her family. She enjoyed traveling, days at the beach, shopping and dancing with Jack, family and friends. She loved big family gatherings, birthdays, holidays, and especially Christmas.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Walter Roach, Dolores Holloway, Fred Roach and Josephine Schoenherr. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Ogden; her children Kevin Ogden (Paola), Dana Aldmon (Mike); sisters, JoAnn Asiala, Vera Munro, Billie Rogers, and grandchildren Zachary, Danielle, Cody, Bayley Kathryn, Madison and Genesis; and great grandchild Tate Higby.

The family also extends special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Tressa Cobb.

The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM on Thursday March 26, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3617 Milam St. Houston with Fr. Thomas More Barba, Parochial Vicar, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St. Houston.

Please join us for lunch following the burial inside the Forrest Park Reception Center.
