Celebrating the Life of Douglas D. Ramsey, born on January 20, 1970 in Houston, Texas to Marvin (Bud) and Charlotte (Barkley) Ramsey. He was the second of two children. He attended the following schools: De Chaumes Elementary, Ritter House Lutheran, Stovall Middle and Aldine High School. After graduation he began a career at Conroe Public Works.
Among his hobbies were hunting, fishing and BBQing. Douglas' most proud moment was being a parent to Ryan and Rachel. He enjoyed listening to various types of music, Rock-n-Roll and Country.
He will be missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for being passionate, ambitious, loving and giving.
Douglas is preceded in death by his brother, Craig; grandpa, Ray; Grandmas, Trudy and Bonnie. He is survived by his parents, Marvin (Bud) and Charlotte; son, Ryan; daughter, Rachel; two closet friends, Roger Caesar (Shantel) and Matt Smith.
Honoring Douglas as pallbearers are Cody, Roger, Matt, Leo, DeWayne, Patrick
Those attending the service are encouraged to wear Douglas’ favorite color camouflage.
