Du Thua Tran

Born on October 28, 1928 in Phát Diêm, Ninh Binh, Việt Nam, Mr. Thomas Trần Thừa Dụ, our beloved brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend, returned to his heavenly home at 4:30 pm on April 13, 2020 in Montgomery, Texas, U.S.A. at the age of 91.

Mr. Thomas Trần Thừa Dụ is a former French teacher at several Catholic High School in Saigon: Nguyen Ba Tong Catholic HS, Le Bao Tinh Catholic HS, Lasalle Taberd Catholic HS, and Hung Dao HS. He is also an author and writer. He had published 27 French Language Educational books and wrote for a several Vietnamese magazines here in the US. His pen names are Uncle Tom and Gan Bat Sach.
