Uncle Edward will be deeply missed. When we were growing up we called him Uncle Bert and then for some reason he did not like us calling him Uncle Bert any more, it was Uncle Edward. I remember going to the swimming pool with him. He taught me how to make a whale spout with my hands. I love you all so much and he looks so much like my father Eugene Mock.

Papa was such a playful and engaged grandfather. I will always cherish the long, amusing stories he would tell for us, the A-birds he often drew, the Egbert doll he would hide, and playing “shebo down” in the backyard with the other grandchildren. I love my papa, and will miss him greatly.

My prayers are with Loretta and the Mock family at this time of loss. I will miss seeing Edward at Sunday Mass. I know the family is comforted that he is with God and those that have passed before him. Again prayers in theses difficult times.

I remember Uncle Bert used to tell us kids ghost stories. One in particular is the one about the lady with the golden arm. I will miss his warm smile and story telling.
