Elaine Gadbois

E. Elaine Gadbois, age 77 of Bremond, TX, passed away on July 16, 2014. She was born on June 18, 1937 in Etoile, TX to Allen and Florence Wilson. Elaine moved to Houston at an early age and spent her life growing up in the area. She graduated from Austin High School. In 1958, Elaine married Robert H. Gadbois, also of Houston, and they raised three boys together. Elaine was a Real Estate agent, and her career spanned almost 20 years. She retired from Martha Turner Properties, and later enjoyed time on the coast with her husband Robert.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert H. Gadbois; her older brother Henry Wilson of San Jose, CA and her twin brother Sam Wilson of Pearland, TX.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lurene Neely of Houston; sons, Robert and wife Nancy of Bremond, TX, Michael and wife Thelma of Lake Jackson, TX, and Scott and wife Kim of Sugar Land, TX; 9 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was the matriarch of her brood, and will be missed by all that loved and knew her.

The family will receive friends at on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home at 10:00am. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, with interment immediately following.
