Eldon Hesterly Criswell 103 years old of Houston, Texas, was born April 21st, 1916, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 13th, 2019. He worked in the oilfield on oilrigs, and was a diesel mechanic at A&A Transport. He retired from Younger Brothers Trucking Company at the age of 75. He loved working in the yard and tinkering on odd jobs. He was there for anyone who needed help. He enjoyed traveling and doing things with his grandsons and family.
He is preceded in death by parents, William Castleberry Criswell and Ida Mae Sewell Criswell, loving wife Frances Elizabeth Reid Criswell, baby sister Ida Criswell, sisters Agnes Goss Patterson, Grace Goss Turner, Jessie Goss Cobb, and brothers Laney E. Criswell, Clovis C. Criswell, and James Goss.
He is survived by two children Eldon Dewayne Criswell and wife Sonda; Virginia Ann Criswell Graschel and husband Stephen Paul; three grandsons, Stephen Dewayne, Philip VanEmory, Jonathan Kyle and wife Celeste and son Nate; along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
