My name is David Guillen.  I am Elvira's youngest brother.  In September, 2005 my wife, Carol, and I came from California to visit family in Victoria and made a surprise visit to my sisters, Olivia and Elvira at Twin Pines Senior Home.  My sisters and I were very close and we had a lovely visit.
I remember wheeling Elvira down the hallway while she announced to everybody along the way that this was her "baby brother" and his wife who had come all the way from California to see her. When my wife and I were about to leave, she placed her hands on our foreheads and gave us her blessing.  I can still see her at the door in her wheelchair waving good-bye to us as we drove away.

My name is Lisa, my favorite memory is when my family and I decied to drive from California to Texas, I had never met Aunt Elvira and was very excited to meet her. When she arrived she grabbed my face with both her hands kissing me, and saying she had wanted to meet me for such a long time. I have a beautiful picture of the two of us .
