Estelle met the love of her life, F.D. “Jack” Utsey, and they were married on December 24, 1943. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, devoted to caring for her husband and children. Estelle was a member of Southland Baptist, Riverview Baptist, Park Place Baptist, and South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena. She had a passion for painting and gardening and was known as a talented seamstress and an excellent cook.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Juanice Meyer, Charlotte Goddard, and Sherry Utsey; her son, Jim Utsey; her grandchildren, Tiffany Keels, Kimberly Meyer, Amanda King, Kevin Utsey, Jonathan Utsey, Brent Goddard, Erin Goddard Johnson, and April Tabarsi; her step-grandson, Chris Goddard; and her great-grandchildren, Mattie Harms, Alexis Mills, Claire Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Tanner King, Dakota King, Donovan King, Jordyn King, Abbey King, Aiden Utsey, Carson Utsey, Emerson Utsey, Joseph Utsey, Adalyn Utsey, Joy Moses, Jordan Moses, Caroline Tabarsi, Jaxson Tabarsi, and Lucy Tabarsi.
