Esther Fuentes Cordova, 79, from Spring, Texas passed away March 11, 2025. She was born in McAllen, Texas on July 7, 1945. Esther graduated from McAllen High School in 1963. She was married to Rodolfo H. Cordova for 58 years. Esther had a long and illustrious career in the real estate industry as a Realtor in the Northwest Houston area. She valued hard work, but above all, Esther found her greatest joy in being with her family. She was a source of unconditional love, a guiding light, and the heartbeat of family gatherings. Esther had a gift for creating a warm and welcoming home, where laughter and love were always abundant. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones—whether it was celebrating milestones, passing down traditions, or simply sharing everyday moments. Her family was her pride and joy, and she took immense happiness in watching her children and grandchildren grow and flourish.
She was the kind of person who could light up a room with her presence, always quick with a warm smile and an encouraging word. Esther touched countless lives through her work leaving behind a legacy of kindness and integrity.
The family is deeply grateful for the support and love received during this time of loss.
She is survived by her husband, Rodolfo H. Cordova, children Rudy Cordova, Jr., Joe (Cheryl) Cordova, Iris (Cathy) Cordova, grandchildren Cassie (fiancé, Josh Walls) Cordova, Joseph Cordova, Josh (Jasnia) Cordova, Camryn Cordova, Lanessa Cordova, siblings Ramon Fuentes, Robert Fuentes, Estella Macias, Yolanda Narron, Rosa Covarrubias, Marta Villarreal, Veronica Flores, Ricardo Fuentes and her many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Guadalupe Fuentes and her brother Zach Fuentes.
A funeral service for Esther will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
