E.G. “Jeri” Morrison, born 2-4-1924 to Mamie & Archie Power of El Campo, Tx, one of 4 children, went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, in everlasting peace on Feb 14, 2013. She is preceded in her death by her parents; 1st husband, William Liddell, & beloved second husband, Herschel Morrison of 34 years. She leaves behind her devoted sons, Michael & Gary Liddell, their wives Patricia & Pamela, 8 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren as well as step daughters Susan Morrison, Cheryl Chambers and husband Douglas, Sandra McMillan and husband Leslie, Deborah Hennagir and husband Carl, and Denise Morrison; and 10 step grandchildren. She loved cooking, a great lover of the outdoors & especially loved gardening where she belonged to the Garden Club for many years. She was also an accomplished painter and enjoyed sewing and all kinds of needle work. She was also an avid Astros fan. She adored being with family and always hosted the wonderful Christmas celebration.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St Dominic Village Nursing Home on Holcomb Blvd. Services will be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23rd. Viewing will be from 10-11am followed by the service at 11.
