Flavia R. Hernandez, died April 3, 2011. Born April 13, 1924 in Houston, Texas to Isabel and Elias Ramirez. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Preceded in death by husband , Toby Hernandez Sr.; son in law, Michael Burford; parents, Isabel and Elias Ramirez; Sisters, Cruzita Perez, Lupe Rodriguez, Rosa Gonzalez, Dora Sanchez, Acacia Fuentez; brother, Valentine Ramirez. Survived by son, Toby R. Hernandez (Lily); daughters, JoAnn Burford (Phoenix, Az.), Sandra Chamness (Ray) Carthage, Tx., Dolores Hernandez, Elizabeth Contreras Lopez (Julio); sisters, Olivia Mejias, Olga Gallegos, Connie Ramon; brother, Joe E. Ramirez, Sr.; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and numerious nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale from 5-9pm with a 7pm Rosary. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11am at Forest Park Lawndale.
