Florence Barfield Delaney, age 76, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Born in Midway, Texas, she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Willie Bell Barfield and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry B. Delaney; son, Scott Delaney; niece, Barbara Nichols and husband Joe; nephews, Robert Barfield and wife Mickeye, and James Barfield; numerous great nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Madison County. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA at www.houstonspca.org/
